Work under way to make Kilcullen blooming beautiful

Though the conditions are far from the balmy weather we've had over a few weeks, work planting the window boxes for Kilcullen In Bloom got under way this morning, writes Brian Byrne.

Teams of KCA volunteers are taking turns through the day on the job, which will see in the region of 200 units planted and ready for installation. Due to the coronavirus restrictions, helpers from the general public are not allowed to take part this year.

The fundraising for the project is ongoing on the GoFundMe appeal set up by KCA. Please contribute what you can, what the town will look like in a few weeks will cheer everybody out of coronavirus gloom.
